So, you like KISS? Nice choice. Anyway, KISS has been around for over 31 years (They had their farwell tour in 2003) and has set the souls of many rock fans at ease.

Back when KISS came out in '72, there was alot of controversy. With the overloaded theater effect, eccentric costumes, and sex appeal, people didn't know how to cope. What was with the makeup? Why the mask? They weren't the kind of band to get into the music bussiness just for shock value, but for excitment and enjoyment. They were young and it was a great way to deal with raging hormones and acceptance. Having confidence in yourself helps others have confidence in you. By doing this they could let of steam while doing what they did the best... play. But who knew they would grow to become something this big?! They were more than big, they were leviathan. In the hearts of their fans they still are larger than life. There must have been something that truly gave KISS a boost in their early performing years, and what would that be? The fans. The fans make the band what they are. Sure, they come up with the idea, but we put them on their pedestal.
